Backyard Lamb Roast with Chef Reem Assil
James Beard Award-nominated chef Reem Assil and La Cocina's Program Manager, Emiliana Puyana, will host the backyard cookout of a lifetime. Together, they will roast a whole lamb and bake over Reem's California Sajj, a picturesque on-site experience. Served with house-made crunchy pickles, Palestinian and globally-inspired spreads influenced by the beautiful bounty of flavors that surround us. Of course, no meal would be complete without a delicious batched cocktail! Up to 40 guests.
Mariko Grady, chef and owner of Aedan Fermented Foods, hand crafts small batches of traditional Japanese foods. For one night only, Chef Mariko and La Cocina Retail Manager, Lisa Murray, will host a private miso-making class in your home, followed by a multi-course dinner paired with Japanese whiskey. What could be better than rich culinary experience of food, friends, and whiskey? Up to 12 guests.

Oaxaca in Your Home with Chef Rosa Martinez
Chef Rosa Martinez, owner of Origen, will transport you to Mexico with a multi-course meal inspired by traditional Oaxacan smoky flavors, unique spices, and edible insects, typical of her regional cuisine. She, and La Cocina’s Deputy Director, Leticia Landa, will come to your home, and serve dinner for you and your guests. Signature cocktails will be paired with your meal, served by mezcal specialists. You will experience an evening of Oaxacan traditions in your home. Up to 8 guests.
South East Asian Street Food Cooking Class
Learn the secrets to South East Asian street food from La Cocina's Chef Kitty Ditpare of Taco Thai (originally from Bangkok), Chef Thu Hang of Noodle Girl along with our Marketplace Director, Linda Esposito. We will transform your home into a cooking school! In this class, you and your friends will be rolling up your sleeves to learn and cook classic dishes from Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore, such as salads, spring rolls, noodles and curries. The menu to be decided with the winning bidder. Your meal will be paired with beers from the region. Up to 12 guests.
